Nicholas J. Capostagno (He/Him) (b. 1998) is a graphic designer, illustrator, and freelance creative.

He attended Nazareth College and obtained a BFA in Visual Communication Design and a minor in Digital Media Design (graduated May 2020). Throughout his college career; he has found interest in designers and artists from the Art Deco and Memphis design movements. He hopes to convey his own unique style as a homogenous combination of both styles.

While being able to adapt to anyone’s needs when it comes to design, he will incorporate styles that reminisce to the movements that he is inspired by. Problem-solving is what he aims to do with his designs.

Nick Capostagno currently resides in Rochester, NY where he was born and raised.

DESIGNER STATEMENT

“Standout”, is something I have been told for as long as can remember. From the moment I started my journey as a designer, this has been my goal. I strive to implement every lesson, every life experience into my work to help make me unique. In doing so, my goal is to leave that same idea to an audience or future clients. I aspire to break the norm and continuously challenge myself when it comes to creativity and my artistic ability. Exploring other mediums and artistic skills is essential to better not only myself but the work I produce. Versatility is key in this fast-paced world of change. Keeping that in mind, design has been the best outlet to showcase me as an individual and help express all that I have to offer. Inspired by the boldness of the Neo-Memphis movement and the precision of the Art Deco movement, I try to find a married style that reflects what makes me who I am and what I learned.
